Welcome to 7th Grade Science

at

Stillman Middle School

Stillman Longhorn Students,

I would like to formally introduce myself.  I am Ms. Garcia and I will be your 7th Grade Science Teacher.  I look forward to embarking on a new successful year filled with the knowledge and wonders of what science holds.  As one knows, success comes with responsibilities and expectations.  I have provided you with a detailed manifesto of my class and its requirements by the means of this PBworks wiki.  You will find everything necessary to succeed in my class.  If, for some reason, you still cannot acquire what you are looking for, I ask that you contact me at any time with any questions or concerns.  I say this with the utmost respect and encouragement.  Communication is key and you must take on the responsibility of acting if you have doubts.

Information on supplies, expectations, and guidelines that every student must follow can be found in this wiki.  All the assignments that you will be required to complete, along with anything else I give you throughout the year will also be made available on this site in a timely manner.  You will have full access to everything so that in the event that something may occur, you may venture there and find it.  I do this so that you can be successful.

I will also be using Remind to send out messages and remind you of when assignments are due or of important dates and/or events that will occur in class.  The Remind app can be downloaded onto your phone, tablet, and/or iPad.  Once downloaded, you and your parents will have to create and account so that you can have access.  Each class period will have their own remind notification account.  Please make sure that you choose the one that pertains to you.  If you have any problems or questions, do not be afraid to ask.

Stillman Longhorn Parents,

I am honored and privileged to be your son or daughter’s 7th grade science teacher this year.  It is imperative that we, as the modeling adults, communicate and understand each other.  This will allow for a sensational year filled with excitement and knowledge.  I want this to be an amazing year for all of us.  With that said, I have included my contact information so that you may contact me at any time.  Even the smallest matter is important.  I encourage you to take a look at the wiki and download the remind app.  They are great tools that will allow you to get the same information and notifications as your son or daughter.  That way, we are all on the same page when it comes to your child’s science class.

I look forward to a sensational year filled with rigorous yet, extraordinary knowledge!!!!
